“And if we want to achieve our goal, then let us empower ourselves with the weapon of knowledge and let us shield ourselves with unity and togetherness!”
The Assembly at The Aarambh School provides a platform for the entire family to come together and start the day with a lot of positivity and energy. The children seek the blessings of the Almighty to begin the day, refresh themselves up, and leave all their worries behind.
"To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear – Buddha"
Sports are an indispensable part of a student's life. The healthy spirit of competition and application of mind and body are the reasons we encourage sports. It teaches team spirit, discipline, respect for rules and the fervour to win. Physical development is a vital part of childhood, as they say that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! It’s important that the children are given an exposure of different types of Sports activities as they help them maintain a healthy mind-body-heart balance!
"Music is the universal language of mankind!"
The fine arts that demand the most grit and hard work are also the most beautiful and pleasant. It is said that the truest expression of people is in dance and in music - the body never lies! Music and dance are refreshment to the mind and rejuvenation for the soul. It is the backbone of a holistic education. At Aarambh, we believe in providing such opportunities that can help the children to grow multi-folds not just in Academics but also in areas which help them strive for excellence – Music and Dance being one of them!
"Every Child is an Artist”"
We encourage the beauty of art and provide resources for the development of this prevalent skill. Art is the primary means of expression for children, initated when they are infants and perpetually growing with them. It not only boosts the creative approach of the student but also makes him/her more expressive. Here is a snippet of the art based activities that we offer.
"Yoga is the journey Of the self, Through the self, To the self"
Yoga is embedded in the roots of Indian heritage with its impact on the modern world growing. A means of mental relaxation and spiritual development, it replenishes the senses and brings peace to the body and soul. Along with increasing the concentration of the students, Yoga helps students to channelize their energy and develop spiritual strength. We spur the enthusiasm in students for Yoga and help practice it.
"And into the Field I go, to lose my mind and to find my soul!"
Our farming program started out as a means for us to keep the students close to the roots in this day and age, where children have started taking everything for granted.
Over the past couple of years though, this program has shown many lateral benefits. These include children starting to learn the importance of each morsel on their plates and in turn, decrease in food wastage. They have also begun to understand the importance and dignity of labor. Apart from this, children have started learning many mathematical and science concepts through farming. The vegetables grown are taken back by children to their homes – we saw an immense joy in the faces of our children when they did it last year.
Farming has now become an integral part of our curriculum, with children learning to farm through different techniques and also helping the farmers around!
DRAMA & PLAY
Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others!
Our community lunch is a time when everyone eats together as one family and everyone shares food with each other. Many people may see it as simple sharing, but we call it sharing of values, caring for one another and the spreading of love and happiness!
